'07 Chevrolet Silverado HD

The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD 1500 is among the daddy’s of pick-up trucks with roomy cabins, a comfortable ride, comfortable seats, and power galore. The Silverado series has its own fan following and has gained more of a cult status over the years with pick-up owners.

The '07 Silverado HD 1500 series has two engine variants – a V-8 6.0 liter engine that churns out 300 horsepower coupled with a four speed auto transmission, and an optional VortecMAX Performance Package that offers an engine upgrade to a 345 horsepower engine. It can seat up to six passengers, and retains most of its features from earlier models.

It has a long 143” wheelbase, and rides very smoothly even when it is off-road. It is an excellent goods transportation vehicle, and can also stand in for a Sports Utility Vehicle. The 2007 Chevrolet Silverado HD 1500 SS trim comes with an exclusive, all-wheel drive.

Redesigned in its last release, the updated 2008 Chevrolet Silverado HD 2500 retains most of the new changes incorporated in 2007, and lives up to its ‘quarter-ton heavy-duty pick-up’ tag. Powered by a V-8 6.0 liter Vortec engine that puts out 353 horsepower, the truck can be customized in many ways.

You can customize the vehicle to meet your requirement with wide options as far as flat bed sizes, trim levels, and cab sizes are concerned. If that was not enough, you can also choose from a selection of cabin customization options.

Front airbags, ABS, and the popular W83 suspension are all standard on the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado HD. You can also opt for an upgrade to the W85 suspension that houses better shock absorbers, and is better suited to handle off-road travel.

There is also a Z60 street package on offer that comes with 20” wheels and low-profile tires for general use in urban areas.
